Area Activities: We're centrally located for day trips and activities!

Fishing
The John Day River at the east end of the Service Creek property is known for great fishing, quite possibly the best smallmouth bass fishing river in Oregon with great steelhead during the fall and spring. We offer guided fishing, rafting, and eco-tour trips; or bring your own boat and we'll steer you in the right direction.

There are places on the John Day River where it is common for anglers catch 100 Bass a day! Contact us and reserve a guided fishing trip that you will remember for the rest of your life. Our store carries fishing tackle and we can give you the latest information about how to catch fish on the famous John Day River.

Rafting
The John Day River remains the longest unfettered and un-dammed river in the continental United States. If fishing is not your forte, try rafting or swimming in this pristine river and enjoy its remarkable beauty and scenery.

Try the Biyak for a relaxing float or shoot the rapids at high water. Rafting is a fun sport for the entire family.
